The Wine Gang - February 2010

EN: If you've followed Chambert lately, you know how hard we are working at the vineyard (biodynamics, gentle harvest, triple sorting, delicate winemaking: all this to express the very best of our terroir). But at the end, no matter the (needed) hardwork, what counts to the consumer is the outcome (did anyone say score?) and the price! Last month, the famous Wine Gang was in their January Wine marathon and came to Liberty Wines-pro tasting and had some Chambert. Do we really need such wine critics to judge our wines, can a wine be reduced to a 10sec tasting? Following link gives few good reasons: http://bit.ly/dv5QeD . So how well did Chambert do that day? If the score wasn't plaisant, my comments would be different!...but here the Wine Gang perfectly analyzed the wines and did spot the individual characteristics.

FR: Si vous suivez Chambert régulièrement, vous savez combien nous travaillons dur sur le domaine (biodynamie, vendanges délicates, triple-tri de la vendange, vinifications douces: tout cela pour la meilleure expression de notre terroir). Mais au final, ce qui compte pour le consommateur c'est le résultat (la note diront certains) et le prix! Le mois dernier, l'équipe du Wine Gang (Glasgow Angleterre) participait aux nombreuses dégustations professionnelles de Janvier, dont Liberty Wines l'importateur de Chambert. Bien entendu ils sont venu gouter le Chambert! Mais avons nous vraiment besoin des ces critiques de vins, qui en 10 secondes donnent une note à tant de travail?
