EN: This week, Chambert was in London; we were presenting the 2008 vintage to the professional community. Liberty Wines (our importer) had organized a grand tasting were hundreds of wines were presented: from Italian wines, to New World, to French....and Chambert Cahors wines! This busy day finished with an excellent diner by the Thames at River Café; a location were it all started for Jamie Oliver. This diner was started with a Champagne....from UK. And I must admit it was very good!
The following day was the return, but just before leaving we went for a quick lunch at the Fifteen (see image below)
FR: Cette semaine, Chambert était à Londres pour présenter le millésime 2008 aux professionnels.
Liberty Wines (notre importateur) avait organisé une grande dégustation de tous ses vins: des vins Italiens, du nouveau monde, de France....et bien entendu nos vins Chambert pour les Cahors! Cette grosse journée de travail s'est terminée par un diner au bord de la Tamise au River Café, un endroit où tout a commencé pour Jamie Oliver. Ce diner a commencé au Champagne...Anglais, et il était vraiment bon!
Le lendemain, just avant de repartir nous avons déjeuner rapidement au Fifteen!
